Located in the heart of pastoral Goochland county, the Butcher's Block Market makes everyone feel like it is their corner store. Owners Paul Cruser and James "Shay" White combined their 30 plus years of restaurant experience into designing a gourmet market with an everyday kind of feel.

"We set out to create a better alternative to the big grocery stores in the area. We offer quality, personal service and convenience." Cruser says. Also, free advice is always available as Cruser and White have been cooking professionally for many years and are happy to make a suggestion to help make that dinner perfect.

The Butcher's Block Market offers catering, party platters, gift baskets, fresh flowers and hosts wine tastings and classes on pairing wine and beer with food.
